Seldom are artists fortunate enough to have both critical acclaim and commercial success. One such exception is Lance Letscher.
Although his materials, including bookbindings, old ledgers and journals, and miscellaneous paper ephemera, remain the same as in years past, Mr. Letscher is not one to rest on his laurels. He is continually experimenting with new motifs and has developed an even larger vocabulary of shapes and forms to pull from. From the small pinwheel Pink Book, to monumental works on masonite like Here and There and More Good Than Bad, Lance Letscher has created a diverse body of work from the very basic scissors, paper, and glue.
